Blessed with a Miracle x 3!
Whenever you walk into a home to take some portraits, you never know exactly what you're going to get. You can plan and even brainstorm what poses you want to include in the session, but it'll never quite exactly be what you pictured in your head. Walking into the home of these adorable triplets, I knew I could expect some chaos, but never did I imagine we'd be contending with falling branches on awnings and chainsaws, LOL! Still, in the midst of it all, I felt the magnitude of being in the same room with these precious miracles. They came unexpectedly way too soon (about 3 months) and were met with many health challenges and surgeries along the way. Baby Zachary is here by the grace of God and prayer. The road to get to this day has been long and tearful and yet, here we are taking their very first set of portraits. And I had the honor of sharing in the moment with this beautiful family! Thank you so much for gifting me with more than you could ever imagine: hope!

Growing Baby!
It always amazes me how much a newborn changes those first 3 months of life. Baby "N" is no exception! He was just so sweet and cuddly the whole session! And yes Mom, I think those eyes are staying nice and light! I'm so looking forward to capturing him at 6 months!!! Here is our growing baby's sneak peek...

Busy, busy and My Little Cousin gets married...
I've been so busy lately and have neglected blogging just a bit. Last week, I had so much fun photographing my daughter's preschool (pictures to come, promise), but post processing has taken up lots of my time. That and preparations for my cousin's wedding. My girls participated as flower girls and for those of you that have planned a wedding, those last minute fittings and purchases always bite you in the butt. All was worth it at the end. What a beautiful ceremony and couple! And I was lucky enough to snag some images of the bride as she was walking in. She was breathtaking! Anyhow, here are some of my favorites of the evening.

Brother and Sister!
Have I mentioned how much I love watching babies grow? I have been photographing this family since the older sister was a newborn. Just look at how big she is!!! We had to work a little to get some smiles out of her, but I think we won! Baby brother was full of energy and smiles. This was a fun and easy shoot right before leaving on vacation!

Delicious Baby Boy!
Here's another family that I've been photographing now for the last 2 years. Mom is the most organized mother I have ever met. I love clients like her who always have a plan! These kiddies are absolutely gorgeous. We were able to replicate a hat photo with Baby "M" that we took 2 years ago of the twins. He was such a sport about taking these photos even after having shots the day before. I definitely got my boy fix after this session. Thanks Mom!

Could they look anymore alike?
Here are two babies I've been photographing since birth. I can't believe how big Baby "D" has gotten and then to see his baby sister just blows me away as well. Just look at that head of hair. I'm so used to my Mia's lack of hair and Baby "I" is three weeks younger than she is. It's always a pleasure to have this family over. We usually end up chatting away at the end of each session! Thanks again for allowing me to capture your beautiful family!

Comfy at Home
I always love coming to a client's home to take some photographs. It is there that I can capture who they truly are. Baby "E" was such a joy to be around. She was all smiles while I was there and I'm glad I was able to make her happy while helping mom finally get those portraits she's been after. I hope these were worth the wait, Mom! Thanks for welcoming me into your home!
