A Happy Ending (and beginning) to 2009!

When one of your siblings gets married, it's hard to be present in the moment on the actual day of the wedding. All the planning, fittings, pre-wedding activities just add to the blur that is those few hours. It didn't hit me til the day after that my baby brother was indeed married. That's when the flood of memories catch up to you... the screaming from the bleachers during karate tournaments and baseball games, the pretending he was my little Mr. Potato Head, the breakdancing at the parties, the Michael Jackson shows, the pride every time I heard somebody say "Damn, that boy is a good athlete!", the effort it took to finally convert him from a Nole to a Cane, that pride again when he became president of his fraternity, the relief and gratitude when he found Steph! It's hard to believe all that's happened. Oh, how the years go by...
I'm grateful that they allowed me to capture some moments between them now as husband and wife. No frills, no crazy appointments or make-up artists! Just me capturing them as they truly are. So I leave you with some of these moments and I wish you and your loved ones...

Happy memories,
Healthy bodies,
Fatter wallets,
and an abundance of
LOVE!!!

Happy 2010!!!

Two Little Porcelain Dolls...

I love it when babies have white milky skin. These two had the most breathtaking stares. They really cooperated so well for us, too. I mean, look at the football Dad made little Nico wear on his belly! LOL! Complete torture I tell you. (It's all about the "U"). I had a lot from this session that I really liked, but these just stood out for me and I think you'll see why.

One Big Happy Family!

I'm so happy Gladys finally got her family photo session! It was her and Leonardo's 36th Wedding Anniversary and she wanted to commemorate it with all the kiddies! The weather was just perfect and all except maybe Javi cooperated. ;) I think we got some really great ones of the grandkids, but that first photo is still my favorite. I LOVE big (and crazy) families!!! xoxo

It's another boy!

I can't believe how quickly the time goes! It seems like only yesterday, I was photographing this beautiful mommy with her first little boy and now after two years, she's expecting another. Adrian is a splitting image of his mama so let's see if Julian will bear a little more of Daddy. :) Congrats to this beautiful family! Thanks for letting me capture this special moment the second time around.

Last Christmas Session for 2009!

These two cuties were my last official Christmas portraits for the year. Whew! It's been a busy (and fun!) season and I'm grateful to all of you for choosing me to capture your families! Justin and Sabrina were so gracious with their smiles, too. All I had to do was talk about "el raton Miguel"! I had to squeeze that last one in! A perfect way to wrap up the year!!!

Such a little man!

I so enjoy photographing this bundle of deliciousness. He is an absolute dream! This time around, he developed a little shyness. So cute! I love how Mom combs his hair into a mohawk!!! Just check Madoc out!
